[edit] Introduction
Welcome to the KnowledgePit family of wikis. If you're reading this page, chances are you're either interested in, or have already begun, editing
[edit] KnowledgePit Administrators
The first rule of the KnowledgePit is that administrators have the final say in any argument, disagreement, or dispute. This, however, has to be governed as well.
[edit] Chain of Command
Everybody has somebody to answer to. Readers, of course, answer to the body of editors as a whole.
[edit] Editor Disputes
If there is an editing dispute which cannot be resolved by consensus on an article's talk page, the editors must involve an administrator, who will make a decision one way or the other. If the party(ies) involved feel that the decision was made poorly, they can request that another administrator (or several other administrators) be brought into the situation. If the administrators involved agree either unanimously or by heavy majority ("heavy majority" is open to interpretation), the decision is made.
[edit] Administrator Disputes
If the administrators involved cannot come to an agreement by committee, the case will be brought to the acting owner (Floppie (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • logs • block • block log)), who will finalize the decision.
[edit] Best Interests of the Wiki
This states that any administrator decisions must be made in the best interests of the KnowledgePit wiki family, as a whole. This is open to interpretation by the governing party. Again, if there is a dispute over this, it goes up the chain of command as necessary.
